Princeton aspires to make the world a better place, and we’ve started by making Princeton even better. The campaign has already had a significant impact, on campus and beyond — generous donations have established 18 new professorships and 7 new endowed preceptorships; allowed for a fourfold increase in arts courses; provided support for more Princetonians than ever before to work and study abroad; and funded groundbreaking enhancements to our already robust financial aid program.

New programs and facilities have been established in all of the campaign’s areas of priority:

• The Keller Center for Innovation in Engineering Education
• The McDonnell Center for Systems Neuroscience
• The Scully Center for the Neuroscience of the Mind and Behavior
• The Bezos Center for Neural Circuit Dynamics
• The Niehaus Center for Globalization and Governance
• The Julis-Rabinowitz Center for Public Policy and Finance
• Sherrerd Hall

...to name just a few new hubs of learning and discovery.

Existing programs and facilities have been greatly strengthened:

• The Center for Economic Policy Studies has been re-named in honor of Benjamin H. Griswold III, Class of 1933.

• Innovative research in engineering and the natural sciences is being supported by the Eric and Wendy Schmidt Transformative Technology Fund.

• Butler College has new dorms offering comfort, convenience, and environmentally friendly features, and students can now safely cross Washington Road, thanks to Streicker Bridge.

• On the playing fields, our athletics programs have been enhanced by the creation of Sherrerd Field at the Class of 1952 Stadium, Roberts Stadium, Myslik Field, and the Cordish Family Tennis Pavilion, as well as by the establishment of the Ford Family Directorship of Athletics.

The Aspire campaign is strengthening Princeton for the future. As of April 9, thanks to over 63,500 alumni, parents, and friends, the Aspire campaign had raised over $1.683 billion -- 96 percent of our goal.
