Princeton Annual Giving: Giving Options

In addition to a one-time gift option, Princeton alumni and friends can choose to make Installment or Recurring gifts to Annual Giving.

Here are the details on the two new options:

An Installment Gift is a specific gift amount that is charged monthly, in equal installments, to a donor’s credit card, with the total gift amount to be paid in full by June 30. (Minimum total gift amount is $25.)

A Recurring Gift is a gift designated for this year’s campaign and renews for future campaigns. This gift is charged to the donor’s credit card in the interval the donor chooses: monthly, quarterly, or annually.

The donor will receive an email confirmation after each installment or recurring gift has been processed. At the end of the calendar year, the donor will receive a gift summary tax receipt totaling all of the gift payments for the year.

What are the benefits?

Every gift makes a difference! And spreading your support throughout the year is a useful way to include your donations into your personal budget. Installment and recurring giving are convenient and paperless ways to deliver your support.

Convenience. When you participate in one of Princeton’s sustaining giving options, your gift will appear on your credit card statements. You will receive a calendar year-end tax receipt each January to help in your tax preparations, and you will not receive Annual Giving appeals during the campaign year.

Satisfaction. You will know that your installment or recurring gift makes an impact on Princeton’s students and programs throughout the year.
