A Celebration of Spring and the 1746 Society

May 3rd, 2017 / Gift Planning

Prospect Gardens’ tulips were in full bloom as 1746 Society members gathered on April 27, 2017, helping to keep spirits bright and conversation lively. The event, hosted by Princeton’s Office of Gift Planning, recognizes alumni, spouses, widows, parents, and friends who have included Princeton in their estate plans or made life income gifts.

Participants heard about campus planning from Vice President for Finance and Treasurer Carolyn Ainslie and about computer science, the hottest major on campus, from that department’s chair, Jennifer Rexford ’91, the Gordon Y. S. Wu Professor in Engineering. Several undergraduates and graduate students shared details about their academics and activities, and thanked the society’s members for providing the support that makes their Princeton experience possible. The afternoon closed with a rousing rendition of “Old Nassau” led by the a capella group, the Roaring 20.
