Julis Romo Rabinowitz Building Dedication

April 5, 2017

Alumni, friends, and members of the University community celebrated the dedication of the new Julis Romo Rabinowitz Building on April 5, 2017. A reimagining of the venerable “Old Frick” Laboratory, the building was made possible by a gift from Mitchell R. Julis ’77 P19 and Joleen Romo Julis P19, and named in honor of their families.

Julis Romo Rabinowitz Hall is now home to the Department of Economics, the Julis-Rabinowitz Center for Public Policy and Finance, the Bendheim Center for Finance, the Center for Health and Wellbeing, the Griswold Center for Economic Policy Studies, the International Economics Section, the Kahneman-Treisman Center for Behavioral Science and Public Policy, and the Research Program in Development Studies.

"It will inspire collaboration among Princeton's renowned scholars, strengthening their exploration of the economies of the world and their understanding of complex and critical issues that directly affect the lives of people around the globe," said President Christopher L. Eisgruber during the ceremony.

The event also featured a lecture by Mr. Julis as part of the G. S. Beckwith Gilbert '63 Lecture Series.
